Mini Highland Cattle Breeding

At our small hobby farm in Salmon Arm, BC, our Mini Highland Cattle are more than just livestock — they’re part of the family. We are proud to be selectively breeding Mini Highlands with a focus on health, temperament, and true miniature size, while maintaining the classic Highland look everyone falls in love with.

Why We Breed Mini Highlands

Our journey into breeding started with a deep appreciation for these gentle, hardy animals and the joy they bring to everyday farm life. With their shaggy coats, sweet nature, and manageable size, Mini Highlands are ideal for hobby farms, small acreages, and families looking for a unique and lovable addition to their land.

We’re passionate about preserving the integrity of the breed — not just shrinking the size. Every pairing is chosen with care to ensure strong genetics, proper conformation, and well-socialized calves that are a great fit for both first-time cow owners and experienced farmers.

What You Can Expect

  • True Miniature & Midsize Highland Cattle
  • Calm, well-handled animals raised around other livestock, dogs, and people
  • Support & transparency — we’re here to answer your questions before and after purchase

We believe in raising animals the right way — slowly, responsibly, and with lots of love. Our calves are handled from a young age and raised in a peaceful, healthy environment to ensure they grow into friendly, confident cattle.
