Farm Visit Liability Release & Waiver
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING OR ENTERING THE FARM
By booking a visit to and/or entering EE Mini Ranch, located in Salmon Arm, BC, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that visiting a working farm and interacting with animals, including mini cows, involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, slips, falls, uneven ground, animal behavior, scratches, minor injuries, allergic reactions, or other unforeseen incidents.
I voluntarily choose to participate in farm activities and interactions with animals and assume all risks, whether known or unknown, associated with my visit.
2. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge EE Mini Ranch, its owners, operators, employees, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my visit, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
3. Health & Safety Acknowledgment
I agree to:
- Follow all posted rules and verbal instructions from farm staff
- Treat animals gently and respectfully
- Supervise any minors in my care at all times
- Wash hands after animal interaction
- Not enter restricted areas or engage in unsafe behavior
I understand that failure to follow rules may result in removal from the property without refund.
4. Minors
If I am booking on behalf of a minor or bringing a minor onto the property, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor and agree to this waiver on their behalf. I accept full responsibility for the minor’s supervision and conduct during the visit.
5. Medical Consent
In the event of an emergency, I authorize EE Mini Ranch and its affiliates to obtain medical treatment for me or my minor child if necessary. I understand that I am financially responsible for any medical care provided.
6. Photography & Media
I grant permission for photographs or videos taken during my visit to be used by EE Mini Ranch for promotional or educational purposes, unless I notify staff in writing prior to my visit.
7. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state/province of British Columbia.
8. Agreement & Acceptance
By checking the box below and completing my booking, I confirm that:
- I have read and understood this Liability Release & Waiver
- I agree to be bound by its terms
- I am at least 18 years old or a legal guardian signing on behalf of a minor
