Amanda was born and raised on a farm in Saskatchewan, where horses, goats, chickens, and plenty of cats and dogs were a big part of everyday life. Her love for animals started early, shaped not just at home but also during regular visits to her grandparents’ farm — a place filled with draft horses, cattle, and unforgettable memories.
That early connection to animals led Amanda to become a Registered Veterinary Technician, a career she’s passionate about to this day. She thrives in the fast-paced, high-energy world of veterinary medicine, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a difference.
But outside of the clinic, Amanda finds her balance on the farm — where life moves a little slower, the animals are family, and the days are filled with fresh air and simple joys. Whether she’s rounding up goats, tending to the chickens, or just soaking in a quiet moment with the cows, the farm is where her heart feels most at home.
